The Coordinated School Health Team at Stone Memorial High School hosted their seventh annual Panther Dash on Saturday, Nov. 10. The event featured a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run/walk for all ages. There were over 40 participants ranging in age from 8 to 71.

The 5K overall male winner was Fidel Balderas with a time of 18:27. The 5K overall female winner was Haley Suggs with a time of 23:08. The Carroll Family received the fastest team award. The team award for most participants was awarded to the Healthier U Team from the CMC Wellness Center.

Proceeds from the run benefit the SMHS Coordinated School Health Program and Christmas on the Mountain Toy Drive.
