Gage Spence and Logan Parsons tallied nine points each to lead the South Rebels to a 48-16 win over the Homestead Bulldogs in Cumberland County Junior Varsity basketball action Monday night at South.

Grant Cooper and Mitch Ball led Homestead with six points each.

Martin 46, Crab Orchard 27: Chris Pendegrass and Thomas Whited each pumped in 12 points to lead the Martin Eagles to a 46--27 victory over the Crab Orchard Tigers.

"This was as a complete game that we have played this season. Every player contributed. Each and every one of them played very well. I think two of the most telling statistics are our 15 assists on 23 of our field goals and (this goes hand in hand) only seven of our 52 field goal attempts were outside the land," said Martin Coach Blaine Moore.

"Defensively, the boys played very well. For the most part, the score is not a true indication of how close the game really was. It was only a nine point game until three minutes to go in the fourth quarter. Crab Orchard never quit, a tribute to good coaching."

Logan Davis led Crab Orchard with 10 points.

Here are results from games played Oct. 16 and Oct. 18.
