The Cumberland County elementary basketball league resumed Monday night after taking Thanksgiving off with four double-headers — North at Homestead, South at Martin, Crab Orchard at Pine View and Brown at Pleasant Hill.

The only scores received at press time Tuesday were Homestead 42, North Cumberland 22 and South 43, Martin 10 — both boys' games.

North at Homestead

Homestead 42, North 22: Jamie Nichols poured in 14 points to lead the Bulldogs over the Patriots.

Mikey VanWinkle led North with eight points.

North (22): M. VanWinkle 8, Tabor 1, Hunt 2, Bullock 2, Headrick2, Brown 4, J. VanWinkle 3.

Homestead (42): Pugh 3, Sexton 8, Norman 7, Nichols 14, Tollett 6, Newcome 4.

South at Martin

South 43, Martin 10: Josh Dykes and Silas Clark tallied 13 and 12 points, respectively, to lead the Rebels over the Eagles.

Kevin Flores and Mason Crisp led Martin four points each.
