Are you better off today than you were Jan. 20, 2017?

One year after Donald Trump took the office of President of the United States, communities across the nation are looking back to say how they think he’s doing. How do you feel changes to regulations governing the Internet, the environment, taxes are affecting you and this community?

The Crossville Chronicle, as part of a larger, national Pulse of the Voters project, is seeking individuals in Cumberland County who wish to share their thoughts on President Trump’s accomplishments and challenges, and the work they feel still needs to be done.

You live here. You work here. You raise your families here.

And you have a voice that should be heard.

In addition to a story in the Chronicle, comments will be shared with other CNHI editors for possible inclusion in regional and national stories.

We aren’t looking to further any agenda other than providing our community a platform to be heard.

Those interested in sharing their thoughts are encouraged to contact:

Michael R. Moser, Chronicle editor, at

Heather Mullinix, Chronicle assistant editor, at

Gary Nelson, Chronicle staffwriter, at

We’re seeking individuals to take part in an open, neighborly, civil discussion of issues that are important to them, and to allow us to report on those discussions over the coming months.
