The book, bake and bargainza sale is set for Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Fairfield Glade Village Green Mall from 8 a.m. to noon. All monies raised go to fund the Fairfield Glade Ladies Club scholarship program.

Be sure to attend and get your supply of winter reading, or look for that special something at the bargainza tables. Of course, the fantastic bakers will have been at work so there will be a great selection of baked goods.

Donations of books are welcome, If you want to donate reading material contact Shirley Gentit at 707-9039 for the closest drop-off point.

Jane Seward, chair of the bargainza portion of the sale, reminds members to clean out all those closets, cupboards, basements and attics of your no longer wanted treasures and call her at 456-1507 for the drop-off point.

Betty Andrews and her committee will be calling all Ladies Club members to either bake or send a donation, make checks out to FGLC and mail to Betty at 51 Beachwood Court.

Books and bargainza items can be dropped off at the Nov. 7 Ladies Club meeting.

Mark your calendars for Nov. 10 and be there early for the best selections. Take Peavine Road to the 4-way stop at Stonehenge Drive, turn left, proceed to first stop sign, turn right, then left into parking lot.
