The Lake Tansi Pan Fish Anglers Club have been enjoying their fishing season, holding tournaments every other Tuesday on beautiful Lake Tansi. 

I have just arrived in Lake Tansi Village and I do hope this is just the first of very many articles I write for the Smoke Signals. First of all I want to thank everyone I have met for the very warm welcome that I have received in Tansi and Crossville. 

Starting in May we will be doing a bi-monthly test for our weather warning siren systems. A schedule of dates from May through November is included in this issue. There will also be an email blast sent out to remind everyone. These dates are on Saturdays at noon.

Lake Tansi’s Covenants Committee met the last week in April to review results to date and plan future covenants extension efforts. To date two covenants with expiration dates have been extended, and those covenants affect over 49 percent of Tansi’s 10,400-plus lots. Three other covenants wit…

A Lake Tansi Welcome Committee was formed on April 1 of this year. There had been a committee in place until 2008 when the committee disbanded. The new committee will be overseen by the Lake Tansi Exchange Club and the Lake Tansi POA.

The Lake Tansi Women's Club meeting will be Tuesday  May 1,  at  11:30 a.m.  at the Hiawatha Activity Center.  This meeting will be open to members and a guest.  The Lake Tansi  Women's Club will end the 2017-'18 year with speaker Bob Washburn from the Wolf River Nursery.

The Lake Tansi Exchange Club cleaned-up Dunbar Rd. March 3 bright and early to keep the community beautiful. The Lake Tansi Exchange Club hosts litter clean-ups along Dunbar Rd. several times every year and has since the club took on the project in 2005.
