A Cumberland County man charged with sixth offense drunk driving was among dozens recently indicted by the Cumberland County Grand Jury. Defendants will appear in Criminal Court Monday for arraignment, or read-out of the charges against them.

Lastis Emerson Walker Sr., was among those indicted. He is accused of driving while intoxicated on March 4 after being stopped by Fairfield Glade Police Ptl. Stephen Johnson.

Walker has previous DUI convictions — all in Cumberland County — on April 19, 2018, April 23, 2015, Aug. 4, 2013, May 15, 2006, and July 1, 2005.

Walker is in jail and will appear before Judge Gary McKenzie on Monday.

In other cases in which true bills, or indictments, were returned, the following charges were filed.

•Shawn Edward Ridener, 41, 181 or 1818 Diden Loop, Lancing, June 20/an indictment dated Jan. 18,  charging burglary and theft of property of more than $2,500.

•Roger Junior Eddington, 38, 945 Old Baldwin Rd., June 25/indicted on an attachment for felony failure to appear in Criminal Court.

•Orry Joseph Savage, 32, 191 Jefferson Rd., Smithville, July 2/an indictment charging theft of property of $10,000 to $60,000.

•Jacob Lasaro Mayberry, possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone and possession of marijuana.

•Justin Lee Hale, possession of more than .5 grams of methamphetamine, possession of more than .5 grams of meth for delivery, possession of oxycodone, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Desiree Christine Taylor, possession of more than .5 grams of methamphetamine for sale and possession of more than .5 grams of meth for delivery.
