A Crossville pair have been arrested and charged with the June 28 burglary of an automobile, according to arrest reports filed by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department

Malcolm Louis Brown, 21, 165 Obed St., is charged with burglary and theft of property and was placed under $2,000 bond with an Aug. 16 hearing set for General Sessions Court.

Brittney Benae White, 18, 751 Old Hwy. 70, is charged with theft less than $1,000 and criminal conspiracy and was also placed under $2,000 bond with an Aug. 16 court date.

The two are accused of traveling to an apartment on Burnett St. It is alleged in the arrest affidavit that White drove Brown to the scene and remained in a car while Brown entered a vehicle belonging to Shannon Causey.

An iPod and two packs of cigarettes were taken in the burglary, according to Det. J.C. Hancock's arrest affidavit.
