One injured in I-40 crash

An 18-year-old motorist was flown the scene of this rollover crash that occurred before 3 p.m. Saturday on I-40 near the westbound 325 mile marker. Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Sgt. Justin Mote identified the driver as Lindsay Threadgill of Crossville. She was traveling alone in a 2005 Ford FSY when, for unknown reasons, left the roadway and struck an embankment before rolling over. Traffic was stopped for a medical helicopter at the scene airlifting the victim to a regional trauma center. No other information was available from preliminary reports. Threadgill’s condition was not known at press time.
