Arc plans meeting

The Arc will have a special needs life and estate planning meeting on Feb. 24 at Pine Eden Church on Genesis Road at 5:15 p.m. The meeting will give families essential information that will help them plan for the the future of loved ones with special needs. Carving Club meets

The Crossville Carving Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Oak Hill Baptist Church on Genesis Road, one mile north of I-40. Anyone interested in woodcarving is welcome. Concert presented

There will be a concert by the "Clarinet Choir," a group of clarinetists from Cookeville and Crossville, at 3 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Wattenbarger Auditorium on the Tennessee Tech University campus. The group will be directed by Joseph Hermann, TTU professor and director of bands. The event is free and open to the public.

See license plates

There will be a license plate show at the Community Complex from noon to 6 p.m. on March 3 and 7 a.m. to noon on March 4. You will be able to see old plates from Tennessee, other states and foreign countries. For more information, call Jere Robinson at 484-5668.

Sale continues

The Mayland Senior Center thrift store continue its special 99 cent sale on items more than $1 through Feb. 28. The sale includes clothing and accessories but not large or electric appliances.
