A Crossville man was arrested Tuesday and charged with passing counterfeit $20 bills at three fast food locations in side the city limits, according to police reports.

Dustin Lee Walker, 20, 29 Primrose Ct., is charged with three counts of criminal simulation, according to arrest reports filed by Ptl. Chad Withrow.

In one affidavit Walker, who also listed a Sam Marsh Rd. address, was charged with attempting to pass a fake $20 bill at the drive-thru window. An employee gave police a description of the vehicle and a short time later Walker was stopped and taken into custody. He reportedly admitted attempting to pass the bogus bill.

Later in the day Withrow was dispatched to Krystal's and McDonald's where he was informed that a man driving a small, blue car had passed counterfeit $20 bills at both fast food businesses. Further investigation revealed that the serial numbers on the bills passed at Krystal's and McDonald's matched the bill found in the possession of Walker, according to reports.

Walker is to appear in General Sessions Court June 12.
