The 127 Seniors enjoyed easy listening music provided by Frank Hanwright and Karen Lees at their most recent meeting.

On March 30, members of 127 South Senior Center met for games,coffee, sweets and conversation. With some raindrops outside, they had sunshine inside.

Jan Nietzke, president, opened the meeting. The opening prayer was led by Jean Wettlaufer. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jerry Norris. Nancy Fincher, sunshine lady, reported on our members with health issues, wishing them well. Francis Stoner was a guest today. Fred Zoeller announced all the April birthdays. Also those with wedding anniversaries in April.

April 6 starts the 10-day trip to Texas. The bus will leave the center promptly at 8 a.m. The next day-trip is to see Jeannie Robertson, comedienne, in Knoxville. June 10 is a six-day trip to Pennsylvania visiting Amish country and historical places. Jan reminded everyone to use Kroger tabs to benefit the senior center.

The next game day at the center is April 17; please sign up with Helen Lord. Jan announced there is a pancake breakfast on April 12 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Disabled American Veterans Chapter behind Kroger. The breakfast is free to disabled veterans who show a military I.D.; others pay $4.

The meeting's bingo games were sponsored by life Care Center of Crossville. Easy listening music was provided by Frank Hanwright and Karen Lees. The lunch prayer was led by Bob Jones preceding a lunch of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts.
