All Red Hat groups are invited to show their colors at a special performance of Carousel at the Cumberland County Playhouse in September.

The leading lady in this musical is a victim of domestic violence. For that reason, Avalon Center is pleased to announce its partnership with the Cumberland County Playhouse production of Carousel. The executive producer, Jim Crabtree, and director, Abby Crabtree, are consulting with Avalon Center regarding the domestic violence theme. A special informational exhibit will be on display during the run of this production.

The highlight of the production will be a special theater benefit for Avalon Center on Friday, Sept. 21, with a gala reception, 6-7 p.m., preceding the performance at 7:30 p.m.

Be sure to stop by the Second Chance Re-Sale Shop, suite 133, at the Crossville Outlet Center, or the Avalon Center office to purchase your theater voucher and ticket to the reception. The total ticket cost for both events is only $35 per person.

The reception will be held in the Adventure Theater. Reception guests will enjoy delicious hors d'ouvres, nonalcoholic refreshments, live music performed by Angelia Bell, a chance to meet members of the Carousel cast, as well as an opportunity to meet and mingle with other Avalon Center supporters. Space is limited for the reception, so please get your ticket soon.

If you cannot attend the reception, you can still support Avalon Center by purchasing a voucher for the performance at $24 per person.
