The Crossville Lions Club recognized the recipients of the 2009 GOOD Program on April 28. This program recognizes students from the eighth grade of each of the elementary schools. Selected by their teachers, the student chosen to receive this award normally doesn't win the majority of academic awards, but has maintained a positive attitude in a tough situation, or gets lower grades but works hard to do the best possible job.

GOOD stands for Going On Or Defeated and recognizes students who never give up, but keep pushing forward to achieve the best in their lives.

Each student was presented a certificate and a gift card for their recognition.
