Brunelle presented with Quilt of Valor

Veteran Shawn Brunelle is presented with a quilt from Crossville Quilters chapter of Quilts of Valor by Doris Smith for his 21-year service in the U.S. Navy from 1985-2006, serving during Cold War, Persian Gulf War and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was nominated to receive the QOV by Nancy Mitchell, regent of The Crab-Orchard Chapter National Daughters of the American Revolution. The day was made more meaningful being held on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Dec. 7, and being surrounded by Crab-Orchard DAR members Donna England and Nancy Mitchell, American Legion members Mani Lozano, chaplain Jerry Brownstead, Terry Mitchell and Jack Hammond.
