Since our first food distribution on Aug. 5, 2009, Peavine Care Center (PCC) has served, on an average, 800 people per month. We purchase the food we distribute from Second Harvest in Knoxville and we also accept donations from various grocery stores in our area, as well as other sources. We are very fortunate to have sufficient food products to give to our clients but other things are also needed. We are asking our community for their help. Besides the needed food products some of our clients need the following: paper towels, toilet paper, diapers (both adult and children’s) and any type of cleaning products. We are a 501(c)3 organization, so any donation made to PCC can be used as a tax deduction.

Our operating expenses for the Peavine Care Center are approximately $1,500 monthly, which includes our rent, utilities, and the purchase of the food we distribute. As always, we would appreciate and accept monetary donations; checks made out to Peavine Care Center, 1853 Peavine Road, Crossville, TN 38571.

Monetary donations and donations of diapers, paper products and cleaning products can be dropped off at the Peavine Care Center, 1853 Peavine Road, (in the Crossville Heating and Cooling Building) on Mondays between 10:30 a.m. and noon or Wednesdays between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
