The Fairfield Glade Community Club Board along with the Fairfield Glade membership agree on the importance of providing a safe and secure environment for our residents and guests. And we believe our community should have emergency medical services that meet or exceed standards for response times and quality of service. Making this possible requires a rather large number of people. We are therefore encouraging Fairfield Glade residents to participate in voluntary Emergency First Responder organizations. Because there is a financial requirement involved in qualifying as a volunteer in these organizations, the Board has established the Fairfield Glade Emergency First Responder Tuition Assistance Program.
Applicant eligibility requirements:
• Be a member in good standing of the Fairfield Glade Community Club.
• Be a full-time, year-round resident of Fairfield Glade.
• Not be eligible for tuition reimbursement from any other source.
• Complete the First Responder Tuition Assistance application.
• Submit a receipt indicating payment in full plus a copy of the payment instrument.
• Submit proof of successful course completion.
Tuition Assistance applications will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility by the Fairfield Glade Human Resources Director, recommended for reimbursement by the Fairfield Glade General Manager, and approved for reimbursement by the Fairfield Glade Board of Directors.
Tuition reimbursement payment:
Tuition reimbursement payments will be considered a no-interest Forgiveness Loan between the recipient and the Fairfield Glade Community Club for a term of 2 years. During the 2-year term of the Forgiveness Loan, the recipient must maintain membership in good standing of the Fairfield Glade Community Club and must maintain full-time, year-round residency in Fairfield Glade. Should the recipient of the Tuition Reimbursement Payment fail to maintain membership in good standing of the Fairfield Glade Community Club or fail to maintain full-time, year-round residency in Fairfield Glade, the Forgiveness Loan amount will become payable on demand by the Fairfield Glade Community Club.
The Tuition Reimbursement Forgiveness Loan will be considered paid in full on the second anniversary of the Tuition Reimbursement date, given that the recipient has maintained membership in Good Standing of the Fairfield Glade Community Club and has maintained full-time, year-round residency in Fairfield Glade.
The Fairfield Glade Community Club Board of Directors reserves the right to be the sole arbitrator of any and all disputes that may result from the Emergency First Responder Tuition Assistance Program.
The Fairfield Glade Community Club Board of Directors will review the effectiveness of the Emergency First Responder Tuition Assistance Program annually and will decide whether to renew or terminate the program at the annual January Board of Directors meeting.
