Ticks and Chiggers and Snakes, oh my!
Staying safe from critters in yards is a topic that everyone is interested in. Don Hazel, the featured speaker at the July 17 Fairfield Glade Garden Club monthly meeting, will be addressing this issue and giving information and tips to use in every backyard. Don has lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Texas and now in Tennessee. He has lived in Fairfield Glade for 13 years and has been writing a nature article in the Glade Sun for over 10 of those years, and now also in the Crossville Chronicle.
The regular monthly meeting convenes at 9:30 a.m. in the Fairfield Glade Community Church large meeting room located at 521 Snead Dr. Members and guests are welcome to arrive at 9 a.m. for pre-meeting refreshments and socializing.
The featured program will follow the usual business meeting and announcements.
Guests are always welcome. More information is available from Garden Club President, Merry McMahon, via email at email@example.com or phone at 931-237-5020. Visit the website at www.time2meet.com/fggardenclub.
