This event is one of the major fund raisers for the year which allow us to support many local nonprofit agencies, with the help of sponsors like State Farm Insurance, Crossville Ceramics, Cracker Barrel, Rustic Hills Landscaping, Bear Trace and many, many more.

Last year's event raised approximately $10,000 for our community. Some of the recipients supported by donations were Avalon Center, CCHS Baseball Boosters, CCHS Choral Group, Hospice of Cumberland County, Humane Society, Fairfield Glade Fire Department, Rotary Youth Leadership Scholars and Tennessee Technology Center.

If early applications are any indication, we would advise you, as soon as possible, to contact your son or daughter to make arrangements to meet them at Bear Trace to have a fun and memorable time on July 26.

By popular demand, the format will be the same — 9-hole alternate shot — 9-hole scramble. A free lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. Prizes will be announced soon.

What could be more fun than a bucket of laughs and camaraderie with your family? Most importantly, with love! See you on the links!
