Cumberland Artisans for Creative Expression (CACE) supports exclusively Cumberland County arts and crafts interests. And as such, wants to expand its influence among the many who benefit from its concerted efforts.

CACE is unique in showcasing Cumberland County only. Its Artisans Exposition is a case in point. Says President Sharron Eckert, "There are a lot of festivals, craft shows and events in which anyone from anywhere can rent booth space and sell items." The Expo, begun in 2004, is held each fall and this year it will allow demonstrators and exhibitors to sell their creations during the show. It is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 at the Cumberland County Community Complex (Fairgrounds), Livingston Road, Crossville.

There is still booth space available, with the Expo a scant three months away. The application deadline for entering is July 15. There is no charge for entering and interested artists and craftpersons may get full information by calling Wilma Emling, 456-7954 or Betty Zarnitz, 456-6946. Or write to CACE, P.O. Box 244, Crossville, TN 38557.
