The sixth annual Judged and Juried Show was the feature of a reception June 26, when in addition to good food and drink, the following prizes were awarded by the judge, Andrea Rudloff:

1. Best of Show to Eric Buechel for “The Franklin Mercantile Deli” (he received a $500 prize donated by the First National Bank).

2. First-place prize of $300 was awarded to John Anderson for “The Bridge Player.”

3. Second-place prize of $200 was awarded to Gordon Lindblad for "Reading Train."

4. Third-place prize of $150 was awarded to Dena Whitener for “Souvenirs of Africa.”

All of the money prizes were donated by the First National Bank. In addition, Awards of Excellence were given to Sam Hill for “Surprise- Apalash” by The Art and Frame Shop; Tess Sullentrup for “Shell Sandwich” in jewelry by Jerry’s Artarama of Knoxville; Rebecca Harmelink for “Sharing the Load” by Picture Perfect; and Emmarie Reed for “Two Flyers" by the judge.
