Friday, May 1, is our next blood drive. It is also time for "gathering flowers in May." Can we count on you to be our bouquet of May flowers by giving blood in the Fellowship Hall at the United Methodist Church on Westchester Rd.? Just think how much hope a very ill recipient will receive as a result of your precious gift. Think of all the wonderful things a recovered person might contribute to world peace as a direct result of your gift of blood? Inventions? Medical cures? Imagination can make so many dreams come true with your loss of a unit of blood that is quickly replenished by your healthy body.

Golf can wait for a little while, or come over after your golf game. The same idea applies to the tennis match or bridge game. We are open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., plenty of time to arrange your plans for the day.

Please put the date on your calendar right now before "Glade Fade" sets in. Imagine what your blood might do to better this world! We will be watching and waiting for a "bumper crop" of blood this time. Don't disappoint someone who needs you.
