Kelli Roberson, with the Cumberland County Extension Service, displays a rifle up for auction during the annual Confiscated Weapons Auction as part of last week’s 10th annual Cumberland County Gun Show. Auction proceeds benefit law enforcement projects, including education, training and new equipment. The sale brought in $58,000 in sales, which included a few items benefiting the National Wild Turkey Foundation, which had to cancel its fundraiser banquet due to COVID-19. There were 284 bidders at the event — almost double auctions in prior years.
