Larry and Lea Ann Sherrill of Crossville and Roger and Laurel Ward of Oneida announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristin Laurel Ward, to Bradley Carson Daugherty. He is the son of Bren and Caroline Daugherty and Dianna and Dave Hamby, all of Crossville.
The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in Lake Tansi.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of George and Archie White of Rockwood, Linda and the late Kenneth Sherrill and John and Sandra Ward, all of Crossville.
A Tennessee Technological University student, she is majoring in biology and plans to graduate in December 2009.
The prospective groom's grandparents are Billy and Dorothy Tays of Crossville, Carolyn Daugherty and the late Clarence Daugherty.
He is a lineman employed by Volunteer Energy Cooperative.
Invitations will be sent, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited.
