Jennifer Vaughn is a senior at Cumberland County High School. She was selected by her counselor, Barbara Bridges, to take part in the Fairfield Glade Lions “Student of the Month” Program. Lions Program Chairman Bob Cover appointed her for the month of December 2018 and also named Gordon Moving and Storage as her corporate partner.

Jennifer has spent much of her life learning about law enforcement. She is an American Legion Auxiliary volunteer and a member of the Sheriff’s Youth Academy. She spent time with the National Youth Leadership Forum studying the law and the CSI program. Jennifer has been a Girl Scout for ten years and spent well over 3,000 hours with this organization. She is also the treasurer with the Skins USA Program and works 30 hours a week at Arby’s.

Her hobbies are riding horses, hiking, playing instruments, singing, listening to music, reading books, playing video games, doing arts and crafts and working on math problems. Her future goal is to join the police force, go to college to study psychology and criminology and become a criminologist as a state trooper.

The Fairfield Glade Lions Club will invite Jennifer and her parents to their April dinner meeting to be recognized and honored with all the other 2018-2919 “Students of the Month.” They will all be introduced with a brief introduction of their accomplishments and receive a plaque with their month and year as a Student of the Month.
