Annual Hit the Trails Fall Festival is this weekend


CROSSVILLE — The Fairfield Glade Community Club (FGCC) announces the second annual “Hit the Trails Festival” on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year the festival has expanded to include more outdoor recreational activities available to Fairfield Glade residents and visitors. The festival will be held at Mirror Lake (at the corner of Peavine Rd. and Stonehenge Drive) with live music by Soulfish and fresh grilled food. Twenty-four organizations and clubs will be on hand to share information about all the great activities available in Fairfield Glade. Exhibits will include Friends of the Glade Trails, birding, fishing, geocaching, beekeepers, cycling, model sailing boats, horseback riding and so much more. Scheduled afternoon hiking trail tours will also be available.
