Celebrate a Victorian Christmas in Granville

Submitted

CROSSVILLE — The Town of Granville will celebrate a Victorian Country Christmas beginning on Nov. 8 and continuing through Dec. 28. This will be a celebration of times past when the holiday season takes on a sense of magic nostalgia that must be experienced. Victorian attire, music, carolers, laughter, food and fun contribute to making this event special. Visitors will step back in time while enjoying the present — a time to continue to treasure life-long memories with old friends and build new memories with new acquaintances. Stroll the streets, visit the Homestead showcasing Victorian decorations, complete your Christmas shopping in the unique shops, taste the country cooking at Sutton General Store, attend the Christmas play titled a "Mayberry Blue Christmas," listen to the Christmas Bluegrass Dinner Shows, visit the Festival of Trees at Granville Museum, visit the Antique Toy Show at Sutton Homestead Antique Garage and enjoy all those things that only an old Victorian Christmas in a historic town can provide. We all have our favorite memories about Christmas and Granville’s Victorian Christmas will hopefully rejuvenate those most cherished. For more information visit granvilletn.com or call 931-653-4151.
