The Crossville Knights of Columbus are preparing for Oktoberfest 2012 high atop the Cumberland Plateau. Reserve the dates of Oct. 12 and 13 for your dining, dancing and listening pleasure at The Knights of Columbus Activity Park, 2892 Hwy. 70 East in Crossville (Exit 322 off I-40, south to Hwy 70, then 1/3 mile east).
The festivities will kick off with the traditional tapping of the keg at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12. Tapping the keg will be this year’s honorary lady mayor, Ronni Chase, and honorary lord mayor, Panama Jack, of the 102.5 WOW Country Morning Moo Crew. Continuous music will then run immediately after the keg tapping through 9:30 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 13, another day of fun, food, music and excitement will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 9:30 p.m.

Monterey Standing Stone Day Festival "Remembering the Civil War" will be a dawn to dusk event. From Downtown Monterey to Whitaker Park there will be living history demonstrators, civil war encampments, an inter-active kid's zone, food & craft vendors, live entertainment, horse drawn wagon ride, and more.
