Enjoy a Night at the P'opera May 3

CROSSVILLE — PAART (Performing Arts Alliance of Rural Tennessee) is bringing “A Night at the P’opera” to the Palace Theatre for their First Friday event on May 3. International recording artists Armand & Angelina will entertain you with a rewarding evening of music, laughter and joy. This talented duo brings with them a unique blend of popular and classical music which they call “P’opera.” They will take you on a musical journey from Broadway to Beethoven, with visits in between to Disney and other memorable destinations. Their program includes messages of hope, love and joy, with a dash of humor, that puts them comfortably in touch with their audiences.

“Armand & Angelina” have entertained audiences across the United States (including Hawaii) as well as in Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and Europe. They are currently based in Orlando, Florida.

Angelina’s gift is a soul-stirring voice that she lovingly and enthusiastically shares with her audiences. Her classical vocal training began at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and continued at Indiana University's School of Music. Her professional career began with the touring musical company Musicana, followed by performing on cruise ships and later engagements at several musical venues, including Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Caruso’s in Orlando and Epcot at Disney World. Armand is a gifted vocalist, musician, composer and inspirational speaker. He brings more than 25 years of performing experience to the stage. He has composed a number of songs that appear in their programs and has written songs for TV shows “Jim Fowler’s Life in the Wild” and “Keepin’ It Wild with Jason Raize.” He plays the keyboard and is a talented native-American flute player and teacher. His experiences and background provide him a positive and humorous insight on life that he shares with his audiences. Angelina and Armand teamed up eleven years ago and, happily for their audiences, have been on a joyful and inspirational musical mission ever since. They have recorded several albums, many of which have been distributed internationally.

Armand & Angelina will perform “A Night at the P’opera” on the stage of Crossville’s beautiful, historic Palace Theatre beginning at 7 p.m. central time on Friday, May 3. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and can be purchased by calling the Palace Theatre at 931-484-6133 or online at
