World premiere of In Gramps' Shoes set Nov. 2

CROSSVILLE — The world premiere of the movie shot in Crossville named In Gramps' Shoes will be held at the Rocky Top 10 Theater Saturday, Nov. 2, at 4, 7 and 9:30 p.m.  

Some of the members of the cast and crew will be available to mingle with the public after the first performance and before and after the second showing and before the third one. Matinee ticket prices are in effect for all showings. It is possible that subsequent showings will be made available (without the cast) but not guaranteed.  

In Gramps' Shoes is a feature film almost two hours in length, which involved 130 extras from the Crossville area, including the Stone Memorial High School cross country teams. It stars Francine Locke, Andrew Wilson Williams, Jeff Rose, Brittany Blades, Grace Etzkorn and Donald James Parker, who wrote, co-directed and co-produced the film.

Parker is also author of Silver Wind, The Unexpected Bar Mitzvah, Reforming the Potter's Clay, Love Waits, Homeless Like Me, Silver Wind Pow-wow, Will the Real Christianity Please Stand Up, Angels of Interstate 29, Against the Twilight, and the Masterson Family Series including The Bulldog Compact, More Than Dust in the Wind, All the Voices of the Wind, All the Stillness of the Wind, and All the Fury of the Wind.

His films include Right To Believe (Rossetti Productions) and In Gramps' Shoes (Joint venture of Sword of the Spirit Publishing and Rossetti Productions).
