Bluegrass Legend Doyle Lawson to Perform at The Palace Theatre

CROSSVILLE — Bluegrass Legend and Hall of Fame Member Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver will be performing at the historic Palace Theatre in Crossville on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 7 p.m.

With nearly 40 albums to their credit, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver have multiple Grammy, Dove, ICM, IBMA and SPBGMA Award nominations, and are 7-time IBMA Vocal Group of the Year winners. Lawson is reigning SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year, and was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in September 2012 at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.  Lawson's band was just named Bluegrass Gospel Artist of the Year at the 22nd Annual Diamond Awards, were 2012 ICM Vocal Group of the Year, and recently received a prestigious Dove nomination and two Inspirational Country Music Association nominations.
A native Tennessean, Doyle Lawson was also honored by Governor Bill Haslam and the State of Tennessee for his contributions to the state and America through his music in Senate Joint Resolution 467 in February 2012.

In celebration of seven years of successful shows, all seats, except the first eight rows, will be free to the public once again.
