The Crossville/Cumberland County Emergency Communications Center will be hosting the second annual Emergency Responder Day Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Communications Center at 42 Southbend Dr., across from the Justice Center.
All the county and city response agencies will be providing vehicles and equipment for display and will have personnel on hand for demonstrations and to answer questions. There will also be tours into the normally controlled areas of the 911/Dispatch Center.
There will be goodies for the kids and adults, and there will be hot dogs and hamburgers served from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m.
This is a once a year opportunity to come out and see how your 911 system and emergency response works in Cumberland County.
