"We have four out of six starters returning for our 2007 team. The returnees include our setter Caitlyn Sanders, our power hitter Brittany Eller and both of the 2006 District All-Tournament players, Mary K. Krueger and Tiffany Norris," said Alley.

"Our excellent mangers Kelsey Reed and Ashley Bilbrey are also returning. While we have a lot of experience on the court, we still have to fill our libero position vacated by Hayley McKinney and a middle blocker vacated by Lauren Brown. We hope to have a great season through we are playing in the state's toughest district, which includes Anderson County and Knox Catholic. If we can fill our vacancies, we will do pretty good. It is always enjoyable to get the season started and we hope it will be a good one," added the Lady Panther coach.

Stone Memorial's district opponents include Kingston, Anderson County, Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) and Knox Catholic. They will also be playing in the Middle Tennessee Classic in Murfreesboro.
