Registration for the 17th season and 15th year of the Crossville Recreational Youth Soccer Association (CRYSA) continues now through Jan. 31. Teams will play this spring at the Carl T. Duer Soccer Complex located behind Stonepeak Ceramics on Crossroads Drive across Highway 127 North from Cracker Barrel beginning March 26 and will finish in mid-May.

Cost is only $45 per player ages four and up, including adults. The youth fee includes complete kit (jersey, shorts and socks), insurance and helps pay for referee salaries and all other CRYSA expenses. Adults will not have kits. There will be a short late registration period at the beginning of February.

Late registration costs $10 more per player. Limited financial aid is available so please don’t let funds keep your child from playing.

Players may register online at  www.eteamz.com/crysa, at the Century 21 office on North Main St. across from Flowers Bakery, or at the Centennial Park office on Industrial Boulevard.

Coaches and sponsors are needed for the spring season. If you are interested in coaching but do not have a child playing, please contact CRYSA at crossvillesoccer@yahoo.com.

Coaching clinic: A coaching clinic will be held Sunday, Feb. 26, from 1-4 p.m. at a to be announced location. The player draft will be held during the week of Feb. 13-17.

Sponsor fees are $225 per team and include the business’s name on the back of each sponsored player’s uniform. Businesses may sponsor more than one team or an entire division. Sponsorships enable CRYSA to keep the fees at low rates. CRYSA has only raised fees once in its history.

For more information, please call 788-6166 or check out the CRYSA web site at www.eteamz.com/CRYSA.

CRYSA soccer camp: The annual CRYSA soccer camp will be held July 23-27 at the Carl T. Duer Soccer Complex. Half-day registration is $65 and runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Full-day registration is $100 and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes lunch.
