CROSSVILLE — Attention students: Have you been procrastinating about your college finances? If you’re a high school senior or college student and leaning towards a career in some form of agriculture or horticulture field, there’s still time to apply for a scholarship from the Fairfield Glade Garden Club. And here’s the best news of all ... the club now has a website with a scholarship link on the homepage that will give you all the information needed to apply, including the application. Just go to www.time2meet.com/fggardenclub/ and “click.” It’s that easy!

Funds are available for majors such as horticulture, agriculture, natural resources, environmental studies, wildlife, forestry and pre-vet sciences as well as more specific studies in ecology and evolutionary biology, wildland recreation, agricultural equipment systems management, and entomology and plant pathology.

Please note, however, that the deadline for applying is April 15, 2014. For high school seniors, completed applications must be submitted to school senior advisors by that date. College students should mail completed applications to: J. Lecki, 150 Mountainview Dr., Crossville, TN 38558 and must be received by the deadline date of April 15, 2014.
