Student Employee of the Year

CROSSVILLE — Sara Nelson, center, was recently honored by the University of Florida Police Department and named Student Employee of the Year for UF's police department, where she works in the public records department. She is pictured receiving the award from UF Chief of Police Director Linda J. Stump, left, and Curtis Reynolds, vice president of business affairs. Sara is a junior at the University of Florida where she is majoring in dance. She has been named on the dean's list each semester and maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is a 2010 Stone Memorial High School graduate and the daughter of Gary and Kim Nelson of Crossville. The University of Florida has an enrollment of nearly 50,000 students and is home to 16 colleges and more than 150 research centers and institutes.
