Submitted

CROSSVILLE — Brian Lewis, a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning student from Crossville, has been honored as the 2013 fall Student of the Term at Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crossville.

Each term an outstanding student is selected to represent each full-time program taught at Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crossville. These students are selected by their instructors to represent their class as a Student of Merit. The instructors consider grades, work ethics, and extracurricular activities when choosing their program’s student representatives. These names are then reviewed and a TCAT Student of the Term is chosen. The winner receives a scholarship provided by the TCAT General Advisory Council.

According to HVAC instructor Bobby Wyatt, “It is my pleasure to nominate Brian Lewis for student of the trimester. Brian is a very hard working student. He strives for his work to be flawless. He is very considerate to all and helps others when needed. He is an honor student (A average every trimester). Brian is very dependable. If he is on a project, you can count on it being done right. His work is quality and doesn’t have to be redone. Brian has worked hard to overcome a troubled past and I am thrilled to nominate Brian Lewis as Student of the Term.”
