CROSSVILLE — Paranormal investigator Chad Calek will discuss his ghost-hunting projects Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. in the O’Brien Theatre on Roane State Community College’s Roane County campus in Harriman.

The event, presented by Roane State Student Activities, is free and open to the public. Please note that children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Calek is a regular on A&E’s “Paranormal State,” and he has filmed and investigated many tales of paranormal activity. According to Calek’s biography, his interest in ghosts started at age 12 when he heard rumors that his Iowa home was haunted.

Skeptical at first, Calek changed his mind after an “outburst of terrifying paranormal activity began.” He has since made the paranormal his life’s work.

Calek’s projects include a documentary on Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, KY, a chronicle of his family’s experiences and many other paranormal investigations.
