CROSSVILLE — The annual Youth Expo is a time for youth to experience traditional and modern arts, crafts, writing, and music, all at no cost. Adults from various cultural arts organizations in Cumberland County will allow students to weave on looms, play dulcimers, paint, fold paper and do creative writing.

The date is Saturday, April 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Community Complex (fairgrounds), 1587 Livingston Rd., Crossville. There is no admission charge for the event that is sponsored by CACE (Cumberland Artisans for Creative Expression) members. Please note that there are no food concessions available.

In addition to the activities, hundreds of student art pieces will be exhibited from each of the Cumberland County schools and student musicians will perform.
