Theatrix spring show set April 3

Comic play showing one night only


CROSSVILLE — The CCHS Jet Theatrix Drama Club and the CCHS Theatre Arts II class are proud to present their 2014 spring production of the comic play in one act, "Aesop’s (Oh So Slightly) Updated Fables."

There will only be one public performance at 7 p.m. central time on Thursday, April 3, at the historic Palace Theatre. General admission will be $5. Tickets will be available at the door. 

Appropriate for ages 4-100, this delightful one-hour long comedy by Kim Esop Wylie weaves together six popular fables: “The Dog and the Bone," “The Tortoise and the Hare," “The Lion and the Mouse,” “The Fox and the Grapes,” “The Miller, His Son, and the Donkey” and “The Country Maid.”

Packed with familiar characters, humorous plot twists, and lots of audience participation, this production is sure to be a fun learning experience for families and groups of all ages. For more information about this production or other drama projects at CCHS, contact Angela Robbins at the school.
