School Lunch Menus (Week of Sept. 10)

CROSSVILLE — MONDAY — Choice of one: low-fat hamburger patty on whole wheat bun, baked popcorn chicken, PB&J sandwich with Trix yogurt or chef salad with whole grain Goldfish crackers. Choice of two: sandwich trims with green leaf lettuce, baked tator tots or steamed whole kernel corn. Choice of one: sliced peaches in 100 percent juice, red apple wedges or 4 oz. 100 percent blue raspberry juice.

TUESDAY — Choice of one: baked chicken nuggets with whole grain roll, whole grain cheese quesadilla, PB&J whole grain pocket or chef salad with whole grain Goldfish crackers and roll. Choice of two: spring mix garden side salad, mashed potatoes or green beans. Choice of one: diced pears in 100 percent juice, banana or 4 oz. 100 percent apple juice.

WEDNESDAY — Choice of one: cheese low-fat "smart" pizza, baked whole grain corn dog, PB&J whole grain pocket or southwestern breaded chicken salad with whole grain saltine crackers. Choice of two: spring mix garden side salad, baked potato smiles or steamed broccoli. Choice of one: unsweetened applesauce, watermelon slice or 4 oz. 100 percent grape juice.

THURSDAY — Choice of one: beef and cheese whole grain tacos, turkey and cheese sandwich on Goldfish-shaped whole wheat bread with whole grain cheddar Goldfish crackers, PB&J whole grain pocket or breaded chicken salad with whole grain saltine crackers. Choice of two: spring mix garden side salad, baby carrots and broccoli or mashed potatoes. Choice of one: fruit cocktail in 100 percent juice, red grapes or 4 oz. 100 percent cherry juice.

FRIDAY — Choice of one: grilled chicken and bacon club sandwich on Goldfish-shaped whole wheat bread, honey barbecue pork rib patty on whole wheat bun, PB&J whole grain pocket with Trix yogurt or chef chicken salad with whole grain saltine crackers. Choice of two: sandwich trims with green leaf lettuce, baked potato or pinto beans. Choice of one: sliced peaches in 100 percent juice, whole red apple or 4 oz. 100 percent orange juice.
