City of Harriman

The City of Harriman invites applications for the position of Golf Club Manager / Head Groundskeeper. The manager supervises and directs all functions of the golf course, including grounds and maintenance, scheduling and tournaments. Responsibilities include overseeing, administering and reporting on all phases of club operation as well as interviewing of prospective employees. As groundskeeper, maintain assigned grounds in neat and orderly fashion by using powered landscaping equipment as needed. Three to five years of experience with golf course management is preferred. Specialized training in golf course management and grounds-keeping administration is highly desirable. Willingness to work long hours and a variable schedule, including weekends, especially during the busy season. Must hold a valid state driver's license. Must have sufficient strength and manual dexterity to operate power equipment, use ladders and perform various types of manual labor. Must be willing and able to work outdoors all year round.
