The Panthers show their spirit

Stone Memorial High School held its Homecoming celebration last week with the theme "It's Showtime at SMHS." Students competed in spirit competitions, including decorating the lobby, making banners and themed dress-up days.

The community got in on the act Tuesday at the fall carnival. Though rain threatened to dampen the fun, everyone enjoyed the event, which raised money for the school library and for club activities.

The powder-puff football match between the junior and senior classes and the bonfire were rescheduled for Nov. 1 at 4:30 p.m. at SMHS.
