Cumberland County’s Veteran Services Organization Officer Mark Daniels, shown saluting the American flag, contributed to the event by recognizing the oldest veteran in attendance.
Several Cumberland County residents gathered in front of the War Memorial on Monday to pay homage to those who died in service to their country. In addition to songs, many in the crowd, including veteran Roy Welch, showed their patriotism with red, white and blue clothing and miniature American flags.
