LOCAL VIDEO: Four-legged friends strut their stuff downtown

Area residents and their four-legged friends were invited out to the Cumberland County Courthouse lawn Saturday, May 16, to enjoy a little fun and fellowship. There were contests, vendors and a Strut Your Mutt parade. This was the first of what is hoped to be an annual event.

Dog owners were invited to bring out their four-legged friends Saturday for a variety of contests including the smallest dog contest. The 8-ounce Crickett won first place. Crickett is owned by Diane Davis

Grand marshal of the Strut Your Mutt parade was Lincoln, a Brussels Griffon who won the toy group at this year's Westminster Dog Show. Lincoln is being led by owner Anne Jahelka.

Cooper, an arson investigation dog, alerts to the presence of accelerant inside the can. Arson investigation dogs aid investigators in locating samples of different materials to be tested and help determine the cause of suspicious fires.
