The Harlem Ambassadors took on a team of local celebrities Thursday night in a match benefiting the Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity. The event raised $7,669 for the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, and provided Kay Golliher a chance to shoot a half-court basket during half-time to win $10,000. Golliher missed the shot, but the crowd of spectators and the local team members enjoyed the evening of basketball, children's contests and comedic antics. See Friday's Chronicle for additional coverage of the event.
