  • We the People: War drums and propaganda

It’s 4th of July again, a time to remember who we are and how our men and women have offered themselves as sacrifices to the gods of war—for patriotism, for adventure, love of country and concern for families. But we are at a point where we must now ask if more war in the Middle East is honorable or honest. There will always be proud volunteers from Tennessee, but some rethinking is in order.
