David W. Campbell, 73, of Fairfield Glade, passed away May 6, 2014, after a brief illness.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, May 21, 1940, the son of the late Edward Reid and Katherine Turnbull Campbell. He grew up in the Midwest and graduated from Monmouth College, IL, where he starred in track and was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and the Octopus Club.
He worked in the food service industry for over 30 years, owning and operating several restaurants in Colorado, and eventually retiring in 2005 from Seneca Foods, New York, before moving to Tennessee. He enjoyed boating, golfing and working in his yard.
David is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara A. Campbell; son, Jason Campbell of Seattle, WA; daughters, Robin Campbell-Cimprich (Brian) of Seattle, WA, and Martha Campbell-Irving (David) of London, UK; brother, William (Judy) Campbell of Des Moines, IA; sister, Nancy (William) Janike of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces and nephews. He will fondly be remembered as a loving husband and father, caring brother and loyal friend to all who knew him.

Ruth Vicory Yoakum was born on May 9, 1912, to Wilma Pearl McCreary and Walter Carpenter Yoakum in Leavenworth, KS. She passed away on July 17, 2014, at the Wharton Homes at Uplands Village in Pleasant Hill. There will be a service of the worship of God in her memory at the Pleasant Hill Community Church in Pleasant Hill at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
William “Bill” Fancher Graham, 70, of Crossville, passed away peacefully at home July 19, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with malignant lymphoma. Funeral services were held July 22 at Main St. Church of Christ. Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Larry McDuffee officiated, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Hester Lucille Campbell, 86, of Crossville, passed away July 20, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center.The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with Bro. Joe Campbell and Bro. Stanley Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Burgess Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today, July 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with the service at noon at the funeral home. Bro. Chip Meadows will officiate and burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
