Ira Leamon Green, 62, of Crossville, passed away April 23, 2013. Funeral services were held April 26, 2013, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Zac Snyder and Bro. Ricky Graves officiated, with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery. Full military honors were given.
He was born Nov. 16, 1950, in Cumberland County, the son of Chester and Rozelle Thompson Green. He worked many years as a purchasing agent at Crossville Ceramics. He was also a United States Army veteran, having served during Vietnam, and a member of Zion Assembly Church of God in Chestnut Hill. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed all sports. His favorite pastime was spent with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife, Marcie Green of Crossville; son, J.L. Green and his wife, Victoria, of Crab Orchard; daughter, Ginger Akins and her husband, Scott, of Crossville; brother, Lamar Green and his wife, Faye, of Crab Orchard; sister, Charlotte Hamby of Crab Orchard; sister-in-law, Karren Newberry and her husband, Todd, of Crab Orchard; brothers-in-law, Greg Cox and his wife, Sherrie, of Crab Orchard and Ronnie Cox and his wife, Linda, of Crossville; mother-in-law, Velma Cox of Crab Orchard; and grandchildren, Jacob Simmons, Justin Simmons, Janson Green and Shayla Green.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lester Cox.
Pallbearers were J.L. Green, Scott Akins, Jacob Simmons, Justin Simmons, Greg Cox and Ronnie Cox.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Ruth Vicory Yoakum was born on May 9, 1912, to Wilma Pearl McCreary and Walter Carpenter Yoakum in Leavenworth, KS. She passed away on July 17, 2014, at the Wharton Homes at Uplands Village in Pleasant Hill. There will be a service of the worship of God in her memory at the Pleasant Hill Community Church in Pleasant Hill at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
William “Bill” Fancher Graham, 70, of Crossville, passed away peacefully at home July 19, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with malignant lymphoma. Funeral services were held July 22 at Main St. Church of Christ. Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Larry McDuffee officiated, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Hester Lucille Campbell, 86, of Crossville, passed away July 20, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center.The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with Bro. Joe Campbell and Bro. Stanley Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Burgess Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today, July 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with the service at noon at the funeral home. Bro. Chip Meadows will officiate and burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
