Mack Bryan Stanley Sr., 81, of Nashville, passed away Feb. 20, 2013. A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 23, at Woodmont Christian Church, Hillsboro Rd., with the Rev. Clay Stauffer and Dr. Roy Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be held with the family at the church from 4 to 6 p.m. tonight, Feb. 22, and again Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
He was born March 14, 1931, in Sparta, TN, to the late Luther Thomas and Rhea Simmons Stanley. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Horne Stanley; his children, Mack Bryan Stanley Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and, Edmund Luther Stanley and daughter-in-law, Tam Baker Stanley; and two grandchildren, John Mack Stanley and Charles Gray Stanley, all of Franklin, TN; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Jessie Coleman, Ruby Carmack, Thelma Hutchings and Ann Butler; and brothers, Henry (infant) and Joe T. Stanley.
He grew up in Crossville and attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He served in the U.S. Air Force then moved to Knoxville to work for Union Carbide K25 at Oak Ridge. He then worked for Rowe Transfer and later moved to Nashville and worked for Ray Carter Trucking of Memphis. He went into the trucking business for himself in 1964 and remained in the Nashville area for the rest of his life, later building condos and developing commercial real estate, especially around Crossville and Sparta.
He enjoyed golf and some traveling in his earlier years, but later in life his favorite pastime was raising, showing and caring for his Arabian horses. He was a member of Woodmont Christian Church and enjoyed the Monday afternoon 4 p.m. Men’s group, all of whom are invited to be honorary pallbearers.
Those to serve as active pallbearers include his sons, Bryan Jr. and Ed, Sid Stanley, Greg Stanley, Craig Stanley and Steve Moore. Honorary pallbearers include Robert Agee, Wendell Spicer, L.T. Thurman, Bob Mitchell, Vaughn Swafford, Tom Bean and Jim Bean.

Roy Carmon Myers, 95, of Crossville, passed away March 5, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Eddie Kilgore officiating. Obituary reading was by Bro. Chris Bonts and special speaker was Nathan Parrish. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Rita Findley Jones, 65, of Rockwood (Westel Community, Cumberland County), passed away March 5, 2014, at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman.
Judith Elizabeth Conger Interval, daughter of David and Edith Conger, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 8, 2014, in Crossville.

Donna Sue (Brumbalough) Clark, 54, of Crossville, passed away March 5, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center. Funeral services were held March 8 at Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Harold Cox officiating. Interment was in Martha Washington Cemetery in Clarkrange.

Mattie Mae Barnwell, 86, of Crossville, went home to be with the Lord March 3, 2014, at Hospice of Cumberland County. Funeral services were held March 6 at Pine Grove Church of God of Prophecy, with Bro. Jack Lawson officiating. Interment was in Tollett's Chapel Cemetery.
Lorine Gertrude Barnwell, 86, of Crossville, passed away March 5, 2014, at Cumberland House Hospice in Crossville. Funeral services were held March 7 at Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Mark Hall officiating. Interment was in Pomona Cemetery.
Jacqueline Brown Vaden, 80, of Crossville, passed away March 1, 2014. Funeral services were held March 4 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The Rev. Martha Hale officiated, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Julia Pearl Hill, 89, of Crossville, passed away March 5, 2014, at Cumberland House. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to noon at Cumberland Fellowship. Funeral service will follow at noon, with Pastor Hank Jones officiating. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Robert Ray Dillon, 93, of Crossville, passed away March 1, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home March 5, with Pastor Roland Smith and Bro. Billy Kemp officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
John Arthur Price, 86, of Cumberland County, passed away Feb. 9, 2014, in Farmington Hills, MI.
